CUCINELLI, LUISA SPAGNOLI AND FABIANA FILIPPI SAILING BEFORE THE WIND 60 COMPANIES RANKED, ONLY 8 SHOWING A LOSS – AN INDUSTRY GOING STRONG The FASHION industry sails before the wind in the region of Umbria, according to the official ranking of the top companies in the 2018-2019 ECONOMIC YEARBOOK OF UMBRIA, now in its 23rd edition and also found online at ESG89 Group’s portal IoConosco.it , recently presented to the institutions and the press at the Perugia Airport conference hall. The aim of the event was to highlight all the distinctive industrial and commercial features of a region that is trying to leave the many long years of recession and change behind. Everyone agrees that key to the future of our companies of excellence is the “value” of people and skills – the ability to innovate and to adapt quickly to changing national and international markets. Looking at the numbers in the fashion industry in Umbria, the ranking for sales is dominated by BRUNELLO CUCINELLI, with a net sales of €457,029,000, up from the previous year in which it entered €414,937,000.
